2010年9月、強烈な個性とキャリアを併せ持つ4人が新プロジェクトの始動を宣言。

立体的／未来的なフォルムを形成する造形美術然としたファッション・センスと、シンセ～テクノ・ポップやポジティヴ・パンクをはじめとしたダークなニューウェイヴ感覚を交配させたサウンド。バンドという形態でありながら、その音楽性のみならず、アーティスト写真や映像作品などのヴィジュアル全般にまで独自の美意識を忍ばせ、前衛性をエンターテイメントとして発信する。

同年12 月には自身の名を冠した初音源『XA-VAT』を2形態で発表。それぞれのヴァージョンに収録された岡村靖幸によるリミックス曲や官能的なPVも含めて、トータルでジェンダーレスな世界観を提示した。
CDリリースと同日にはLIQUIDROOMebisuにて初ワンマンライブを行ったが、音源発表前にチケットがソールドアウトとなっており、こちらも大盛況に終わった。

2011年3月16日には早くもアルバム「艶℃」をリリース、５月には東京・大阪でのワンマンライブも決定した。


In September 2010, the four members with strong personality and plentiful
experience declared a new project.

Their outstanding fashion sense is a formative arts style that makes
three-dimentional and future oriented forms. And they create the hybrid
sound with a dark new wave feeling as synthesizer, techno-pop, positive punk
rock, Futher more, this distinctive band sufficiently shows their aesthetic
senses of photographs and film works as well as quality of music. They
dispatch an avant-garde art as an entertainment.

In December 2010, they made the first sound sorce "XA-VAT" public after the
name. It consists of two-versions including remix by Yasuyuki Okamura and
sensual Music Video, all of these could present world view of gender-free.

On the day of CD release, they made the first solo live at LIQUIDROOM
ebisu.The tickets were all sold out before the announcement of sound sorce,
and the live was great success.

March 16, 2011 they're releasing an album "艶℃" so soon and solo live
performance takes place in Tokyo and Osaka in May.
