NEWFami。ソロEP『箱庭』8月リリース決定 / Fami to release Solo EP “Hakoniwa” in August

Fami。が、ソロ名義でのオリジナルEP『箱庭』を8月26日にリリースします。2021年、高校生時代にクラウドファンディングで自主制作したアルバム『卒業アルバム』以来5年ぶり、2022年にLOVEBITESに加入後は初となる作品です。

本作は、自らの音楽的バックボーンにあるおしゃれかつ爽やかでありながらテクニカルなJ-ROCKやポップス、そしてボカロ曲の要素を盛り込み、快活さと哀愁さが入り混じった、まさに等身大の「ベーシストFami。」を詰め込んだ作品。まるでおもちゃ箱をひっくり返したかのような変幻自在な「Fami。ワールド」が展開されます。

今回Fami。は、「箱庭アフォーダンス」、「初心者🔰はいうぇい⭐️すたぁ」、「ノスタルジック・ロジック」という3曲の作曲と作詞に加え、ベースインスト曲も作曲。さらに、超人気ボカロPのナユタン星人氏がこのEPのために書き下ろした楽曲「スラップ星人」も収録しています。ナユタン星人の代表曲「エイリアンエイリアン」を高校生時代のFami。がYouTubeでベースカバーした動画が多くの人に閲覧され（約1190万回再生）、「弾いてみた動画」投稿者として有名になるきっかけとなったこともあり、今回Fami。からの熱いラブコールでこの楽曲提供が実現しました。

Fami。はこう語ります。
「たくさんの方のご協力をいただき、こうして自分の世界観を表現できる機会をいただけて光栄です。表題にもなっている『箱庭アフォーダンス』は高校生の時に作った楽曲で、思い入れがとても強いので是非聴き込んでいただけたら嬉しいです」

収録曲は全て生バンドでレコーディング。ベース兼ボーカルはもちろんFami。が担当。ドラムスは、B'zやBABYMETAL、JAM Projectらのサポートとしても活躍してきた青山英樹氏。ギターはaiko、ゆず、清木場俊介らのサポートも務めてきた芳賀義彦氏。またFami。自作曲のアレンジとプログラミングには、LOVEBITESにもコンポーザー／アレンジャーとして協力するMao氏
が参加しています。

また、2025年の自身の誕生日である6月1日に行なったソロライブ「はっぴぃばぁすでぇ・らいぶ2025」の映像を完全収録したBlu-rayまたはDVDに加え、同音源を収めたライブCD付属の3枚組デラックス・エディションも同時発売。『卒業アルバム』全曲に加え、先述のナユタン星人氏作「エイリアンエイリアン」、椎名林檎氏の「Tokyo」と「丸の内サディスティック」、おいしくるメロンパン「シュガーサーフ」などのカバーも収録いたします。

Fami has announced the release of her original solo EP “Hakoniwa”, set for August 26. This marks her first release since her independently produced album “Sotsugyo Album” in 2021, which she created through crowdfunding while still in high school, and her first release since joining LOVEBITES in 2022.

This EP reflects Fami’s musical roots, blending stylish and refreshing yet technical J-rock and pop elements with influences from Vocaloid music. The result is a vibrant yet nostalgic work that truly captures “Fami the bassist” in her most authentic form―unfolding a dynamic and ever-changing “Fami World,” like opening a box of toys.

For this release, Fami has written and composed three songs―“Hakoniwa Affordance,” “Shoshinsha 🔰 Highway ⭐ Star,” and “Nostalgic Logic”―as well as composing a bass instrumental track. In addition, the EP features a brand-new song “Slap Seijin,” written specifically for this project by the hugely popular Vocaloid producer NayutalieN. Notably, Fami’s bass cover of NayutalieN’s hit song “Alien Alien,” uploaded during her high school years, garnered over 11.9 million views on YouTube and played a key role in establishing her as a well-known “bass cover” creator. This collaboration was made possible through Fami’s strong enthusiasm for the project.

Fami commented:
“I feel truly honored to have been given the opportunity to express my own world with the support of so many people. ‘Hakoniwa Affordance,’ which also serves as the title track, is a song I wrote in high school and holds a very special place in my heart, so I would be very happy if listeners take the time to really immerse themselves in it.”

All tracks on the EP were recorded with a live band. Fami handles both bass and vocals. Drums are performed by Hideki Aoyama, known for his work supporting artists such as B’z, BABYMETAL, and JAM Project. Guitar is provided by Yoshihiko Haga, who has worked with artists including aiko, Yuzu, and Shunsuke Kiyokiba. Arrangements and programming for Fami’s original songs were handled by Mao, who also contributes as a composer and arranger for LOVEBITES.

A deluxe edition will also be released simultaneously, featuring a Blu-ray or DVD containing the complete recording of Fami’s solo live performance “Happy Birthday Live 2025,” held on June 1, 2025, along with a live CD of the same performance―making it a 3-disc package. In addition to all tracks from “Sotsugyo Album,” the release will include covers such as NayutalieN’s “Alien Alien,” Sheena Ringo’s “Tokyo” and “Marunouchi Sadistic,” and Oisicle Melonpan’s “Sugar Surf.”

Furthermore, customers who purchase eligible bundle products―including the deluxe edition―via the VICTOR ONLINE STORE within the designated period will receive a jacket card with Fami’s handwritten signature. They will also be able to participate in an online signining session, where Fami signs items live on YouTube, scheduled for Saturday, July 4.

In addition, a special live show commemorating the release of the “Hakoniwa” EP has been confirmed, with ticket lottery applications now open. The setlist will include songs from “Hakoniwa,” as well as tracks from “Sotsugyo Album” and LOVEBITES.
